Providing safe and social distanced events
We understand that in these uncertain times, our clients are feeling more cautious about attending external meetings. We are here to tell you that with us, you are in safe hands. As a team, we have carefully constructed a detailed plan to combat COVID-19. Our policies and procedures continue to change alongside the government guidelines.
If you have a pre-existing booking, expect a phone call from a member of the events team where you will be relocated to a room that you can socially distance. No worries, if your event capacity is too large, we are happy to discuss postponing your event to a later date.
Upon entering the building, you will be greeted by a member of the team, looking to sign you in using ‘Track & Trace’. You will also be debriefed on how the one-way system works, the closest sanitisation stations (including the one upon entry to the meeting room) and how to socially distance when walking around the building. Worried you will forget what you have been told? The lead organiser or trainer will be given a copy of our COVID-19 policy, on their arrival.
Other ways we are looking to combat COVID-19 are:
Doors will be left open where possible to limit hand contact.
The rooms are deep cleaned before and after your event. A member of our team will be around the building, wiping down door handles and surfaces.
Each room will have a pack of wipes for delegates to wipe down their work surfaces at regular intervals.
Your booking will have an allocated toilet block, which is cleaned at regular intervals in the day.
If you are looking to avoid walking around the building, you can always email ‘firstname.lastname@example.org’ with the subject ‘DATE – Name of Event - Assistance needed’. Leave the enquiry in the body of the email and a member of the team will pick up this email and help in any way we can.
Tea and Coffee will be served at the back or just outside of the room, at the agreed upon times. Our staff will be wearing gloves and face coverings, whilst delivering the refreshments. Tea and Coffee will be served as delegate packs, to avoid any cross contamination. Any water urns or milk jugs are cleansed right before use and any handles will be wiped down with disinfectant, after being placed on the refreshment area.

We have taken the principles of physical distancing and adapted them for the workplace. This includes how people move around our centres, with clear information, signage and protocols in place to ensure minimal person-to-person contact.
In order to make sure that our customers can continue to use our meeting rooms in accordance with health and safety guidelines, we have established a meeting room safety protocol. This protocol encompasses the use of new wipe down routines, the use of wiped down equipment and maintaining a cleaning log for all additional cleans.
Virtual Meeting Spaces
With much of the current workspace gone virtual we understand the need to broadcast your meetings agenda or course training to a wide audience while remaining distanced. We have created some unique spaces in the venue which provide a good space for meeting virtually while showcasing your organisations product or agenda.

Having worked closer with external providers we have be awards the certification by Visit England stating we are 'Good to go' showcasing our new safety measures. Fell confident we have taken all steps to ensure your meeting is safe and social distanced.
